WE ASK ALL CLUB MEMBERS TO CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING:
We are fortunate that our business is designed to provide you with outdoor recreation, exercise and fresh food that you harvest during your hunt. In order for our business to remain open and available to you, we ask that you follow all State and County COVID-related guidelines.
We are not open to the general public. If you are not already a member of Hastings Island Hunting Preserve, we ask that you call the Club office to make an appointment in order to visit the Club.
If you are a Club Member, we ask that you:
Please wear a face covering.
Please maintain physical distancing, always, and especially in the Clubhouse.
Please avoid congregating with anyone outside of your immediate group/family. We have lots of open space and this should be easy to do.
Please limit your time in the Clubhouse.
Food from our coffee shop is available in “take-out” style containers to eat outdoors in our picnic area or at the tables we have made available on our covered front porch.
We do not allow currently allow overnight camping.
If you are feeling ill, or have been around anyone who is or has been ill, PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THE CLUB.
Club Staff will be limiting the number of persons who are in the Clubhouse at any one time. Please follow their direction. None of our staff is trying to give you a hard time or be difficult. We are simply trying to keep ourselves, and you, as safe as possible. Please help us do so. Not doing so will be a great way for you to have the opportunity to hunt elsewhere in the future.

Established for the 1968-1969 hunting season, Hastings Island Hunting Preserve is a State licensed, Zone B, pheasant club located 70 miles east of San Francisco and 35 miles southwest of Sacramento. Nestled in California’s Sacramento / San Joaquin Delta on Hastings Island, this private ranch contains an expansive 4,700 acres, with over 800 acres dedicated solely to prime upland bird cover. The balance of this family farming operation is occupied by Hastings Island Land Company, which provides a rich habitat of Delta irrigated alfalfa, corn, wheat and safflower.
Hastings Island is surrounded by river on all sides, providing you with a variety of hunting, fishing and outdoor recreational opportunities. There are activities to keep you and your family busy throughout the year. We have dog training, fishing, trapshooting, camping and picnicking available to our members and their families. During the spring and summer, several local dog clubs host field events.
Our personable, seasoned staff is dedicated to insuring your success, as well as your safety, while hunting. We offer Hunter Safety Courses, as well as introductory orientation sessions to familiarize new members with the Club, our employees and our rules and regulations. We encourage family participation by offering safety classes and activities that support our junior hunters. Please feel free to call for an appointment to meet us and tour our operation.

Park Delta Bay is currently the only legal tiny house community in Northern California. We welcome tiny houses which are RVs. This is a small community with a few owner occupied tiny houses and a dozen park-owned park models. The park has country club amenities including bathhouse, clubhouse, tennis courts, volleyball court, lush green lawns, and fishing docks on the San Joaquin River.

Q: Can I legally park my tiny house?
A: Yes.
Q: Can tiny housers live in the park year-around?
A: Absolutely! Tiny house residents may enjoy the park for any length of stay, and we would love to see tiny house resident make our park their permanent home. Our vision is to form a grassroots community of tiny houses. Together, we can live tiny and be part of a big community.
Q: I have an RV. Are lots available if I don’t have a tiny house?
A: Yes. Currently, there are more RVs than tiny houses. We love custom RV’s. You’re tiny too!
Q: What’s included in the lot fee?
A: The lot fee includes water, sewer, landscaping for common areas, trash collection. Electric is billed separately. See our rate sheet for details.
Q: Do tiny houses have to be on wheels at the park?
A: Yes. As an RV park, we are zoned for recreational vehicles on trailers. Shipping containers and tiny houses on foundations does not meet this criteria.
Q: Does my tiny house have to be RVIA compliant?
A: Yes. The tiny house should be certified to meet RVIA standard or equivalent, and registered with the DMV.

Q: I built my tiny house myself. Can I still park my home at the park?
A: Yes, but we require RVIA certification or equivalent to make sure that the structure is in compliance with regulations for the park’s zoning ordinance.
Q: Can I build a tiny home while living at the park?
A: No. Our insurance does not permit residents to build tiny houses at the park at this time.

Q: Can I park my tiny house as a rental property?
A: Yes. You can park your tiny house here year-around and use it as a short term daily rental property. The tiny house owner is responsible for their monthly lot fee, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of their tiny house. At this time, the park does not offer a property management service.
Q: Okay. I want to park my tiny house at the park. What’s the process?
A: The first step in the process is to call us at 916-777-5588 and complete the rental application ($39.99 fee) at Cozy.co, a rental screening service with credit and background check. We have an occupancy limit of two persons, two vehicles, and two pets per site. We will need to know the date you would like to arrive at the park, the size of your tiny house, as well as its utility hookup requirements. If you are still dreaming about going tiny, it might be a little early to reserve a site. The park is unable to predict lot availability in the far future and we already have waiting lists for sites.
